As an organization Sigma Kappa encourages our members to be involved in their campus and community. Because of this focus on involvement outside of Sigma Kappa, our sisters are able to engage with the campus and community in ways that are important to them by hosting and participating in a number of different events.
The main events that we participate in are the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Marathon Bingo, and bingo every Tuesday at the nursing home across the street from our campus.
Upcoming events: Marathon Bingo (proceeds benefit the Ultraviolet Foundation) is October 30th and Ferguson Open House is November 13th.
Some of our recent events include Sigma Kappacino on Friday, August 30th, as well as many events this semester organized by our Panhellenic council to prepare for primary recruitment in the spring, such as Meet the Greeks (August 28th) and Sorority 101 (October 1st).

Some past events are shown below!
Donuts with Dads and Muffins with Moms:
Last spring, sisters of our chapter invited their dads and other loved ones to a sisterhood breakfast. At the event, sisters shared stories of sisterhood and philanthropy with their dads over coffee and donuts. This fall, we had a similar event to share our sisterhood with our moms and other special guests.
Every year, we host marathon bingo on our campus for student's and the community. People come from all around to play and donate to the Sigma Kappa foundation. This year, Marathon Bingo will take place on Wednesday, October 30th! See you there!
Walk to End Alzheimer's:
The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease. We participate in raising donations and walking to end Alzheimer's every year. We will be walking on October 12th this year!
